With a new ultra-wideband (UWB) PHY Test Suite for the R&S CMP200 radio communication tester, Rohde & Schwarz now offers a PHY Conformance Test Tool (PCTT) to support conformance testing of the UWB PHY layer as specified by the FiRa Consortium.
Rohde & Schwarz adds new models and options to the R&S ZNB vector network analyzer family, addressing applications in the mmWave range such as 5G at FR2 frequencies and applications in aerospace and defense in the Ka band. The R&S ZNB26 provides network analysis up to 26.5 GHz, and R&S ZNB43 extends the upper frequency of the midrange VNA family to 43.5 GHz.
At Automotive Testing Expo Europe 2022 in Stuttgart, Rohde & Schwarz will demonstrate a wide range of advanced test solutions that support automotive applications. In the focus of the company at the show will be C-V2X, GNSS and automotive radar solutions which pave the way for the realization of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Another important topics are connectivity test solutions for Automotive Ethernet, 5G and UWB.
Nuremberg will be home to the international embedded industry once again during embedded world Exhibition & Conference. Rohde & Schwarz will be showing its latest test solutions from June 21 to 23, 2022 at booth 4-218 of Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. There, visitors can experience product highlights like the new generation of the R&S RTP high-performance oscilloscope, and they can learn from the Rohde & Schwarz experts about state-of-the art test solutions for all kinds of embedded systems.
Rohde & Schwarz has paired the outstanding performance of its established R&S RTP oscilloscope with an enhanced user interface and a larger display. The result is an even more flexible oscilloscope in a compact format with a modern look and feel that continues to deliver high-performance signal integrity in real time.
Rohde & Schwarz has introduced not just one but two new maximum frequencies for the R&S SMW200A vector signal generator, bringing previously impossible high performance to digitally modulated signals up to 67 GHz and beyond. The R&S SMW200A is first to enable flat frequency response and 2 GHz modulation bandwidth above 44 GHz. In addition to all applications already supported up to 44 GHz, the 100 kHz to 56 GHz option covers all currently used 5G frequencies, plus earth-to-satellite applications. The 100 kHz to 67 GHz option also supports planned higher frequency 5G bands, the 60 GHz WiGig band, and inter-satellite links.
The R&S TS-RRM-NR 5G conformance test system from Rohde & Schwarz is the first test platform to achieve test platform approval criteria (TPAC) from the GCF certification organization for 5G radio resource management (RRM) at FR2 frequencies. As a consequence, the first RRM conformance FR2 work items have reached “active” status, making them mandatory for mobile device certification. RRM FR2 test cases with one and two angles of arrival (1xAoA and 2xAoA) have been validated in multiple FR2 EN-DC band combinations.
The power electronics community will come together again at PCIM Europe in Nuremberg from May 10 to 12, 2022. Rohde & Schwarz is joining to demonstrate its latest test solutions for developers of power supplies and other power electronics. The company’s experts share their know-how about applications like stability analysis, power integrity and component testing as well as EMI debugging and EMI precompliance testing at the Rohde & Schwarz booth 452 in hall 7.
By integrating online training specialist The Technology Academy into the Rohde & Schwarz technology group, the T&M specialist takes its customer trainings further into the digital domain. Technology professionals worldwide get easy access to an extensive library of high-quality online courses in the fields of RF, wireless and microwave engineering technology, straight from industry experts.
Error vector magnitude (EVM) is one of the main parameters to characterize the performance of a digital transmitter or receiver. The well-established R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz has been the leading instrument for high-end measurements requiring extreme precision.
