Rolls-Royce to supply 15 Bergen gas engines to Contract Power Group for Australian magnetite mine

Rolls-Royce and its agent Penske Australia have signed a contract with Contract Power for the delivery of 15 medium speed gas gensets from Rolls-Royce’s Bergen Engines brand to power the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project in Western Australia, an unincorporated joint venture between Fortescue Metals Group subsidiary FMG Iron Bridge and Formosa Steel IB.

 Xilinx, Inc. and Continental announced that Xilinx will power Continental’s new Advanced Radar Sensor (ARS) 540 with the Zynq® UltraScale+ MPSoC platform, creating the automotive industry’s first production-ready 4D imaging radar. The collaboration enables newly-produced vehicles equipped with the ARS540 to realize SAE J3016 Level 2 functionalities and will pave the way toward Level 5 autonomous driving systems.
